Usually when you're unable to sleep in a bed (e.g. bed too far away or hostile monsters nearby) your respawn point is set anyway.
However, with this mod installed attempting to set spawn while freezing will correctly state "You may not rest now; It is freezing outside", but it will not set your respawn point to the bed!
