The newest update fails to load due to it's inability to watch file count

This is referring to the new beta version "ColdSweat-2.4-b03d"
I can't say much cause I came back from a trip, updated all mods (I know, it never ends well) and now it's fricked.
I tried reinstalling it and removing the old config files and then redownloading it in hopes of it generating new config files as in the patch notes it makes itself clear that it's mainly been playing with config files. I am using 2 addons for cold sweat but this error is clearly to do with the update and is unlikely to be caused by the update conflicting with the addons.

This is the main part of the log but I am including the whole thing in hopes that it will help
"[modloading-worker-0/ERROR]:Exception caught during firing event: Cannot read field "watchedFileCount" because "watchedDir" is null"
The only fix for this issue is rolling back to the "ColdSweat-2.4-b03c"
