The symbol used causes me to get kicked from the server, if it is possible could you provide a way to change it, or show us how to change it our selves , ive tried changing it in the code and "trying" to compile it but im not as programmer good as id like

I'm not sure what you're trying to do. Do you have the mod installed on the client and server? Why do you need to change the symbol?

Kicking the player when they try to use the formatting symbol is the default vanilla behavior and this cannot be changed clientside. it will work only if the mod is installed serverside.

@Ari-RERA-43 you can use %% instead of &

The & symbol works for chat formatting on servers. If there was an option to replace § with & it could make it work on any server.

Edit: this might only be able to work on servers running the EssentialsX plugin but it would still be a nice addition because most servers run that plugin anyways.

Then it would be nice to have an option to use that
