For reference, I am using the Dokucraft Light resource pack.

The color mapping for water is located in /colormap/blocks/water/* by default. This works fine in OptiFine but not in colormatic. When I move the files (water.png and water.properties) /colormap/custom it works fine. Adding support for this directory structure could improve compatibility.
