I find myself using both this mod and BetterCommandBlockUI often,
while having them both side by side dosen't do much, i wish there was a way to either change it so that your mod takes priority when opening the command block UI, or, have a config option to open only on usage of certain items.

I'm not sure if this helps for your use case, but Command Block IDE won't open if the Alt key is held.
