Compact ores do not display the mining level of the block in The One Probe’s HUD element. Additionally, there’s always a checkmark if you’re holding the required tool, even if that tool does not have the required mining level.

For instance, here is me holding a wooden pickaxe and looking at iron ore vs. compact iron ore. It leads me to believe that I can mine compact iron ore with a wooden pickaxe, even though I need a stone pickaxe or higher.

This doesn’t affect drops. I won’t get any drops if I don’t mine compact ores with the right tool. However, it should show the mining level you need and not show the checkmark if you don’t have the right level of tool.

This happens on all compact ores, custom or otherwise, regardless of what the mining level is.

I’m not sure whether this is an issue on Compact Ores’ end or The One Probe’s end. I would assume it’s a problem with Compact Ores’ integration with The One Probe, if it has any. I’ve also reported this issue on The One Probe’s issue tracker here.
