Compat O Plenty showing broken textures in recipes

I don't have any mod that adds vertical planks, but I do have BOP which would have cherry planks as this recipe texts says in the image. The vertical planks don't even show in JEI. I'm using Compat O Plenty 1.19.2-2.0.1

Not really sure the cause of this still, in theory it shouldn't ever be showing up in jei without quark present but maybe I've registered it incorrectly. I haven't fixed this after so long as I don't quite know how to resolve this.
Partial solution would be to unregister vertical planks as "full planks" in recipes. We can't use oak slabs for crafting a crafting table, why can we use vertical ones?
