uh idk like weird visual bug on the top and bottom of the windows

place glass in the world

Connected Glass does not change vanilla glass.

It works fine with just Connected Glass installed (and dependencies), so it is likely caused by some other mod you have installed.

One mod that people have reported issues with is Diagonal Windows, although I have not seen any issue that looks like your screenshot.

Hmm I'll see if I have that mod and try removing it

Yes this did work kinda. initially it doesn't seem like it worked but after replacing the blocks down it did in fact fix the problem.
