When I go into the mods menu on Minecraft I cant configure the connectable chain mod.

open "%appdata%.minecraft\config" folder and then in any text editor open "connectiblechains-common.toml"
and then modify value on 15th line after "maxChainRange = "

а где вы нашли папку "connectiblechains-common.toml"??????

чел.... connectiblechains-common.toml - это файл, а находится он, как я написал выше, в папке %appdata%\.minecraft\config\
на всякий случай, %appdata% - это то же самое что C:\Users\<user>\AppData
