[Bug]: Chains randomly "break"

What is the problem?

I use this mod very actively and think it's really cool. But some chains just "break" and the items are left lying around. This happens completely randomly and cannot be provoked (with the exception of placing chains).

Commenting as i am having the same issue:
Server log:
[22:32:26] [Server thread/WARN]: Collision storage contained reference to null (#496550) which is not a collision entity.

the chains break randomly with seemingly no cause

Some chains are on the border others have two chains on one fence but in two different chunks
