Sentimentality is all about keeping it simple. Their aim is to keep the feel as close to vanilla as possible while adding in some quality of life changes and minor additions somewhat similar to ConsistencyPlus. Currently they add recipes to make tools/utilities out of different materials like sandstone or calcite for example. The problem right now is that you can make them using the raw materials itself, but since Con+ has a cobbled variant of nearly every block it is near impossible to create such tools or blocks.
It would be a nice if the recipe outcome would be changed so some of the items and or blocks can be crafted early-game.
