When i opened minecraft, it keep showing that continuity required connector mod but i have already installed the NeoForge Connector

I came across the same problem with forge1.20.1server, I wasn't able to solve it even when I removed Connector and Continuity, then I suspected it was because of Oculus, turned out I was right. I can run my server after Oculus is removed. (but I can still keep it on the client side)

in1.20.1forge,Only beta4 version can be used,my version: emb0.3.31, Sinya beta46, oculus1.8.0.. The latest version of the Continuity(3.0.0) will prompt that Sinya is not installed

Same here

Mine was false, had a fabric version of BetterEnd installed on neoforge client which caused it to blame continuity

commented

Same here! Not sure why no attention is being brought to such a fundamental bug.

The Forge/NeoForge versions do require Connector and Forgified Fabric API.

commented

That log says that Connector and Forgified Fabric API are disabled, so it correct.

commented

Yes, it's the neoforge version of connunity, it's not meant to require connector?

commented

Then they aren't really Forge/Neoforge versions no?

For people trying to run Continuity on a dedicated server, Continuity is a client-side mod, meaning having it installed on the server won't do anything. In fact, it seems doing so doesn't work at all, with the mod loader saying that Continuity's dependency requirements are not met. That seems like a Connector bug.

commented

It turns out it is actually a Forge bug where the default dependency range is broken. This broken range is only used on a dedicated server, since Continuity is a client-side mod, leading to a crash. Continuity 3.0.1 will fix the issue, but for now it is recommended to remove Continuity from the dedicated server.

Just wanted to say I'm also having this with Forge
