getResource cannot accept null return values despite this being implemented in multiple instances in default implementations.

I'm tested MTS with Countinuity mod on 1.20.1 and recently got the "Resource reloading failed" after boot (and crash ofc).
Countinuity is used via Sinytra Connector on Forge 47.4.6 and its needed for connected textures in resource pack.

I tried loading yuushya, but in fact, almost every Continuity resource pack causes errors.
