[Bug] Cannot enter spaces into signs

Current Behaviour

Currently using controlify with a Wooting 2HE keyboard in mixed-movement mode, with controlify picking it up as an X360 controller. I am using WASD as an emulated joystick.
When entering text on a sign, the space key is recognised as jump, leading to the character jumping and exiting the sign GUI without entering the space.
I have disabled all binds related to jumping, and anything with the A key bound, however the issue persists

Expected Behaviour

Pressing spacebar results in a space being entered into the sign, rather than jumping

I have this same issue. I'm playing on Steam Deck. I can type spaces in books and chat fine, but on signs pressing space closes the sign. This happens both if I bring up the Steam Deck's keyboard to type space or if I bind another button to be space.

The closest thing I could find to this issue outside of Controlify is this Minecraft bug from a few years ago but the suggested solution has to do with keyboard bindings so I'm not sure how to apply it using Controlify.

I also have this issue on my Steam Deck. It happens when using the onscreen keyboard and my physical wired keyboard. PLEASE fix this I have had this issue for like 2 months and it makes signs practically unusable.

Can confirm this is still an issue. Can be fixed by disabling mixed input, however this glitches out the use of the back buttons and occasionallu de-selects the steam input in controller settings (for some reason)

This is because the 'Done' button is automatically selected, and the space key can be used as an enter key which presses the button. This is easily solved! Thanks for your patience in the issue!
