[Bug] Generic controllers have no button textures
spudpiggy opened this issue ยท 0 comments
Current Behaviour
Generic controllers don't have a valid texture for their buttons/axes, and so just appear as a missing texture.
I also cannot see what button something is mapped to, but I can see what axis something is mapped to (but NOT what direction)
Expected Behaviour
Generic controllers show me what button/axis something's mapped to, as well as which button and what axis direction.

Reproduction Steps
- Connect a generic controller - a vJoy device should do. (Make sure there's a feeder set up too!)
- Go into Controlify's controller options. (Calibration is optional, just get into the bindings)
- Map something to a button and to an axis. Note that there's a missing texture instead of a button/axis texture, and that you can't see what button you just mapped.

Additional Information
I'm trying to use barrel roll mod with my sidewinder joystick and a wii nunchuk in my other hand for yaw
it's a massive pain in the arse cus i have to remember my binds since i cant see them
also it looks super unpolished
there's an issue about missing textures, but it's about all textures being missing, not just generic button/axis textures.
Just to make sure...
- I have made sure I am using the latest version of Controlify for the latest version of Minecraft.
- I have made sure there are no other issues describing the same problem on the issue tracker.
