Controller calibration screen comes up after controller is reconnected but cannot be interacted with

Current Behaviour
I am using an ROG ally running blazzle which provides steam deck experience on the device. When the system goes to sleep and wakes up the controller disconnects and reconnects. If i use a mouse to click on the recalibrate button the controller resumes working. But i cannot interact with the recalibrate screen with the controller in this state
Expected Behaviour
The controller should work in this screen

Start game
Open a world
Put system to sleep
Wake system up. (Minecraft sees the controller disconnect and reconnect)
The recalibrate screen comes up but the controller cannot be used to interact with it

I am using blazzle on an ROG Ally. I cannot update Minecraft as other versions do not work properly on the servers i use it on
Just to make sure...
- I have made sure I am using the latest version of Controlify for the latest version of Minecraft.
- I have made sure there are no other issues describing the same problem on the issue tracker.
