The mod still crashes despite the fact you said it was fixed.
Whenever a controller is connected Minecraft crashes and when it isn't connected it shows this.

The library I use to detect controllers doesn't seem to support MacOS with Mx chips at the moment. This will surely be resolved in time. On the other hand, the crash will be fixed in the next update. It has been committed.
