The book gets cluttered pretty fast.

Hard to add these without cluttering the GUI and their usecase is pretty limited after all. If you e.g. want to see all soups, you can just type "soup" in the search bar. Other than that, people usually just filter for best hunger/saturation anyway, so the large amount of items might not actually matter.
