[Bug] Copycats stairs - Texture connection glitch with blocks in North and East direction

Describe the bug
Hello !
I am doing a build using a lot of copycats stairs, I noticed that the stairs have a texture connection bug when facing certain directions.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a new world
  2. Make a 3x3 pattern on the ground with andesite casing
  3. Connect stairs-copycats to the sides of the square
  4. Fill the copycats with andesite casing
  5. See error

Expected behavior
The texture connection should be seamless on all directions.

  • Mod Version : copycats-2.1.4+mc.1.20.1-forge.jar

Additional context
I am using the copycat mod in a modpack, as shown in the screenshot, the issue also appears using chipped blocks with connected textures
