Recipes can't be changed without a /reload. But they should disappear from JEI and the creative menu before you do a reload

As said prior but deleting the comment for that quote feature, a /reload and loading the game like 20 times over, over the course of like 2 months and yet the recipes still have not been removed, however they are at least removed from EMI

Just be aware, it is SPECIFICALLY the recipes not being blocked in the stonecutter, other than the ability to craft them and recipes in EMI when right clicking zinc, all traces are removed
