Prioritizes corpse over modded totems

Bug description
This mod works perfectly with the vanilla totem of undying, but when interacting with mods that add more custom totems such as Friends and Foes' Freezing and Illusion totems, this mod seems to prioritize putting items into the corpse over using those other totems

1.21.4
Mod version
1.21.4-1.1.10
Mod loader and version
Neoforge - 21.4.142
Steps to reproduce
- Grab non-vanilla totem from your place of choice (creative inventory)
- Hold item in your mainhand
- Die
- Question why you died when a perfectly good totem was in your hand
Expected behavior
- Grab non-vanilla totem from your place of choice
- Hold item in your mainhand
- Fail to die
- Profit

I think this is an issue with that mod. They are not using NeoForges event system to detect deaths, which might cause issues.
