Simple. Advancement for hole opening up "The Abyss Emerges". It would add more of a indication to players that the hole has opened.

There is already an achievement for entering it tho

Nah but the achievement will be an indication a bit like the withered symbiont summoning

he means for it appearing, so you actually know that it happened.
