Description of feature request

There should be a toggleable option for Wither Sickness to change the basic appearance of hearts, going beyond a color change, similar to vanilla's Hardcore mode. Maybe a "crack" effect?

Why: Conveyance of information via color alone is bad UX design, as it results in accessibility issues for players with color blindness. While this is mitigated by the fact that Wither Sickness is an effect (resulting in it showing up in the HUD), the hearts changing color is usually the first sign of trouble in personal experience in playing the mod. Furthermore, this option would enable compatibility with certain UI mods that hide long/negative/specified effects.
