Not sure whether to file this as a suggestion or bug, filing as a suggestion for now.
In Twilight Forest, the Lich boss has a set of shields that can only be broken by certain attacks. This makes the Lich unkillable by the Wither Storm normally, resulting in strange behavior if the Lich gets attacked by a head. Making the chomp attack break the Lich's shields prevents this issue.
Similar to #2226, but filing separately as it pertains to a specific crossmod interaction.
