Feature idea: new beacon

When the Wither Storm dies (not plays dead, actually dies), it should drop a corrupted nether star. This nether star can be used to make a corrupted beacon, which is exactly the same as a regular beacon apart from 2 changes. First, the beacon beam is rendered like the wither storm, allowing it to be seen from much further away and making it more useful as an actual "beacon". I personally think it's extremely annoying how beacon beams only render once you're close enough to see the thing you are trying to mark. Secondly, rather than buffing nearby players, the Corrupted Beacon debuffs nearby hostile mobs.

I do plan on adding a beacon in future updates to add a use for the withered nether star that is already in game. I do think that the ability to see the beacon from far away is a very good idea

I was thinking this upgraded Beacon should provide an effect to every player in the world, no matter where they are.

It could also permanently activate all inactive beacons on a 6x6 area when thrown on the ground (Just like on MCSM)

Status effects only go up to level 2 for a regular beacon. Maybe increase it to 3 for this new beacon? Just an idea though.

If a beacon is added, a way to refight the witherstorm, by spawning in the command block should be kind of the life the command-block machine ellegaurd had in S1E2, like you have push four crafting tables around the beacon with pistons, and a command block would replace the beacon itself, (making it impossible to get 2 withered nether stars at once)

My idea was that it could give all the beacon effects at once due to the magnitude of the fight

What if instead it was a powerful weapon like the corrupted beacon in Minecraft Dungeons? (In that game, it shoots a powerful laser beam that pierces through everything)
