Description of feature
I think it would be cool if the segments had phases, each making them a bit bigger, because right now the segments don't grow at all, even though they absorb blocks. The segment's phases could be tied to the wither storm's phase, to make it easier to add.

Ngl, this does seem interesting, it'd be neat to see them get slightly bigger

Heres a basic idea cuz i realized i never gave one:
Phase 6: Segments stay as they are now.
Phase 6.5: Segments "patch up" the holes from the explosion like the main storm, and they look slightly bigger than a phase 4 storm.
Phase 7: Segments grow to about as big as a phase 5.0 storm.
