There is this thing on linux called mpris and it pretty much every music player works with it. Having craftify get info from mpris for those on linux would be really nice since it would allow support for pretty much every music player.

There is a command line utility called playerctl that would probably make it easier to program the functionality

Mpris uses something called dbus and if you use the command dbus-monitor and then filter out everything but the mpris messages then you can also get the info from that
