Issue description

When loading the Star Technology Modpack on a MAC, minecraft fails to load with the attached error.

I think it's something to do with using a windows function.

Steps to reproduce

Install the version in title and try to run on a mac.

What launcher are you using?

Just saw it in your log file, Atlauncher, this is an issue on their side, not mine
ATLauncher/ATLauncher#502
