Issue Description:

Recipes that do not specify the full 9 items in the crafting grid can produce an item when they shouldn't. In rare cases, this can even override a matrix in the crafting table that forms a different valid recipe. A couple sample grids are shown below, but this is not exhaustive of the combinations that will produce the bug.
