Horchata

In Spain we are very hot in the summer, reaching more than 43ºC, and a very characteristic drink of this time helps us to stay hydrated and fresh. It is typical of the Valencian community, that is, from the eastern side of Spain. This drink is horchata, a cool drink with a slightly grayish white color, which comes from the tiger nut ( Chufa ).
I do not know to what extent this drink is known worldwide, but I know that in Latin American countries it is also consumed

It depends on the brand, it's more brown or white, I don't know what it depends on
Recipe:
Tigernut (The Valencian one is of a high quality and has its own sweetness unlike other varieties)
Water
Sugar ( Optinal, depends on the sweetness you like )
Instructions:
The tiger nut must be soaked for 8 hours, like chickpeas
then you have to beat them
It is crushed again with half the water
Strain, and what remains in the strainer is crushed again with the other half of the water
Strain again and the resulting liquid is horchata
Recipte to create:
The tiger nut is mixed only with water to obtain the hydrated tiger nut, which is then crushed, which is then mixed again with water (cold), and now, it would only be hydrated, crushed and mixed, then to fill a glass just like the other drinks
