The compact fluid tank holds about 61mb of fluid on Fabric. That's really not a lot.

My suggestion is to increase its holding size to at least 4, perhaps 6 buckets, and make it act a bit like a shulker box for fluids, where it can be wrenched and retains its fluid contents when picked up.
