The adjacent tanks containing flammable materials cannot be chain-exploded; rather, the tank blocks are shattered.
Additionally, if more than twenty blocks (approximately) of flammable fluid are placed on the ground, igniting them may cause game crashes or even save file corruption.
I hope this bug can be fixed, along with adjustments to the detonation mechanics of fluid tanks.
Here’s an even more explosive idea: Allow fluid tanks and fluid blocks (ignoring disabled fluids) to be detonated when near heat sources like campfires, fire blocks, or active blaze combustion chambers—blocks that could realistically serve as boiler heat sources. This mechanic might impact gameplay balance, so it could be added as a configurable toggle.
what do you mean by tanks are shattered? If there was a crash, how about provide a crash log.
what version are you on? in the latest version tanks containing flammable materials don't explode (that was removed), only the fluids placed on the ground can do that. and the explosion size was turned down
WHAT?
we use 1.20.1-1.3.2
ABOUT crash report ,I could not give you because now i'm not at Home but universe
I hope this (tanks containing flammable materials don't explode)can bring back to mod。COULD it save as an addon?or a configuration thing
that's an older version, in the latest version fuels placed in the world explode with a lower explosion size, tanks containing fuels don't explode and overall this feature is less buggy. I don't think heat sources should explode fluid tanks, It seems to me that it would just get really annoying very quickly.
