As a user I would like to configure some aspects of the mod.
It may feel overpowered for some players (like me) to copy enchanting books or to collect exp from mobs automatically.
I would like to disallow these aspects of the mod to me and my friends over LAN while keeping all the others, hence the request to introduce a way to config mod's functionallity.

Good afternoon. I also wanted to add + to this request. We also like the automation of the enchanting process, but some things in the mod seem too strong and we would like to be able to disable/customize them.
In this case we are talking about the function of copying books.

To be honest, it's the most basic of features and I'm not very happy to add config to turn it off. However you have a point. So I'll think about it, but I don't guarantee that it will be implemented.
I'll leave this issue open.

+1 to this. Automatic enchanting is already very powerful. But the copying of books makes it so that there is barely any reason to go past getting 1 copy of every type of book
