Items disappear when thrown into a millstone

Describe the Bug
When you throw an item into the millstone it seems to get destroyed or disappear.
Reproduction Steps
- get an millstone
- throw an item into it
Expected Result
To take the item from the millstone/to grind it.

when you run the /data command it seems that the item is not in the millstone.
