Mechanic Arm Depot/Funnel Storage Bug?

Describe the Bug

Having some weird issues with the mechanical arm in my newly constructed storage system in Valhelsia Enhanced Vanilla/Fabric.

Basic gist.

Put item on Depot
Redstone comparator sees item on Depot and sends Redstone signal to raise a number of Andesite funnels up in front of the Tech Reborn Storage Units using Create glue/sticky mechanical pistons.
Arm then picks up item from Depot and puts item into funnel/Storage (locked Storage being used as the 'filter').
When nothing left on the depot, the Redstone signal stops and the funnels drop back into the floor, revealing the Storage Units again.
(This is a variation of the one Mumbo Jumbo used in his Create Mod video awhile back, same concept -
https://youtu.be/64U8IiS4MM8?t=453)

However, have noticed two odd things happening.

It randomly loses half it's animation when picking up items from a Depot and putting it into a (Andesite) funnel. The animation will show it picking up the item from the depot, but not moving it to the funnel, it just goes to it's base stance and the item just disappears from it's gripper and the item shows up in the proper Crude Storage Unit behind the funnel. Breaking and resetting the arm (re-targeting the depot and funnel) fixes it for a short period, but seems to lose animation again when I log out and log back in.

Arm just completely losing it's targeting from time to time. I just logged in again this morning and the arm doesn't do anything. Doesn't notice the item on the depot so doesn't pick it up at all. Need to break the arm again and re-target the depot and funnel in order for it to work properly again.

Screenshots of the second problem here. First shows the Crude Storage Unit where the Redstone Dust is, second shows the Redstone dust on the Depot with the funnels deployed, but the arm not picking it up (but will pick it up once I break the arm and re-target the funnel).

Only assumption is this might be something with the distance that the arm can see the funnels since they are dropping down below the floor when the system is not in use?

Reproduction Steps

  1. Set up initial system with proper targeting of the depot and funnels, tested, arm animation works properly.
  2. Log out, log back in, issue 1 occurs. Breaking the arm and re-targeting fixes issue 1.
  3. Randomly Log out/back in again (could be a number of times - might be a time thing rather than a log thing?), issue 2 occurs. Breaking the arm and re-targeting fixes issue 2.

Expected Result

Expected results would be to not have to break and re-target the arm on the depot and funnels for the system to work.

I think the arm is randomly losing it's targets.

(Closed on accident, reopening, sorry!)

Thanks @TropheusJ!

Assuming the same here and this being the second issue and the arm eventually loses it's targets when the filters are not deployed. But is this working as intended or a bug? I would assume with the filters not being raised up/deployed over the Storage Unit the arm would still be able to 'see' them, but not interact since there is nothing behind them when they are under the floor.

However it doesn't make sense for the first issue and the arm animation half stopping, since it can obviously see the funnel, but half the animation on the arm just stops? Can provide any other info/pics/video as needed.

Given that it worked in the video, a bug.
Are you using a release or a dev build from GitHub?

Using the Valhelsia Enhanced Vanilla 1.2.2 release. From what I can see it's using: create-mc1.18.2_v0.4.1+565.jar
