Can't wash some sand.

Describe the Bug
This is a weird bug that now spread across two machines with different setups.
Basically I want to wash sand with water (red or normal) but after some stacks are done it just stops at one single sand.
After putting the sand manually away, the machine runs fine and everything works, just this one sand is causing a problem.
This is not confirmed, but I think it always happens when big stacks of sand get washed in front of a brass funnel.
Reproduction Steps
Check the images, they explain it.
Expected Result
Output of washed sand / red sand

Okey I initially closed this request because I saw that more gold got produced.
But now I noticed something else. My though of sand not getting washed is not completely right, but also not completely long.
I'm still testing on how long, but it seems that there is one piece of sand wich takes a HUGE amount of time just to get washed.
It takes so long that I produce 0 Gold per hour. But every time I check the chest (A long time has passed), new Gold got generated.
So I think the problem is there, but at the same time, it's more complicated than "sand does not wash"
That moment when I forgot that I have a second gold nugget farm, thus generating more Gold.
I will take everything back, the sand does not get washed
can't reproduce. Can you try with a dev build? If it still happens, a schematic might be useful.
Pretty sure this is the same issue I'm having.
For some reason, I can't get the issue to occur in a contraption created from a schematic.
Instead, I've made a schematic of a small contraption and a video where I paste the schematic and then build another unit of the same contraption. The issue occurs in the hand-built unit. When building by hand like this, the issue seems to be fairly reliably reproducible.

Notes:
- I have particles turned off to make the items on the belt easier to see
- when you see the tweakeroo flexible block placement overlay, it means I'm holding control, in some cases to copy the nbt of picked blocks
