CONCEPT
Create Additions has the Tesla coil and barbed wire for defenses, and both are cool, but TFMG has what? Handheld grenades? Phaw. I think with the neat Voltage system TFMG introduces to power, it could be used to introduce voltage as damage when connected to metallic blocks.

WHAT
TFMG has this neat voltage system, aforementioned, and it would be cool to see it translated into effects like we see with exploding devices and whatnot when it's too high. A voltage -> damage system for metallic surfaces could be utilized via an electrification connector that's bound to an area selection much like Create's native glue highlighting. The selected areas, when bound to this connector block, can become electrified with an amount of voltage when this block is hooked up. The number of blocks could correspond to the direct energy cost while the voltage decreases per block traversed.

Voltage can be used to do a number of damage effects depending on number. Low voltage can just slow entities down, while medium voltage range does tick damage and slow down. High voltage can catch entities on fire and the collective of other effects lower ranges do.

Electrical Field
It is beautiful.
Blue outline: selection field
Green line: power source
Yellow: power block/connector
Red: platform or fence
Zombie on fire: self explanatory

The platform must be made of a conductive material, AKA: steel, iron, copper, gold; under a "conductive" tag that can be added to or subtracted from for compatibility sake. They must all be within the "connector's" field of effect, and the number of blocks in the field corresponds to the energy draw. So let's say 100 energy per tick per block for example's sake. If we view this diagram from top down rather than a side view, it represents a fence vs a floor.

Quality of conductivity is something to think about, but for the sake of modding, let's forget about that. Metallic materials like iron fences, iron blocks, and maybe even iron redstone components can damage on contact/usage by entities.

No sprite spawning is required for the mechanic since electrified objects irl do not spark or glow unless extremely hot or in contact with other fields. Maybe high voltage fields can spawn a sprite or two sometimes for visual warning.

WHY
This would introduce a later game way of creating damage fields at energy cost. One would have to have a decent power setup and a functional factory to do these things. It would introduce a really cool mechanic, in my opinion, and it would broaden the effective scope of TFMG's weaponization and electrification update in a unique way. Farming and PvPvE mechanics introduced by this are broad, but thematic. Creating mob farms would be engaging, more dangerous than ever, and more straightforward for the effort put in.

Thanks for reading, I hope this intrigues you and makes it in someday, or simply isn't too hard or out of scope.

The formatting got messed up and github is being screwy. Will draw something instead.
