Specifically the steel casing recipe, but there might be more. The input for tin plates uses "tfmg:nickel_sheet" which only allows for tfmg nickel sheets to be used, but many packs use unifier mods or have otherwise different tin materials. On forge 1.20.1 there should be a tag for "forge:plates/tin" or something similar.

Mekanism and sulfur is a problem as well. Steel works great from either.
