Mod doesn't work with with recent Expanded Storage versions

Describe your issue
When I try using this mod with the updated version of Expanded Storage for Forge and Fabric, the game crashes and this shows up:
Expanded Storage (expandedstorage) has failed to load correctly
java.lang.reflect.InvocationTargetException: null
I'm using Expanded Storage 8.3.3 with Mounted Storage 1.2.2 on Minecraft 1.18.2
