Ores could be found when you have 1 type of ore in your inventory

2 IDEA:
Ore Vein Finder would have an gui similar to the one that (its from factory0resources mod) can be seen in the picture and you can find a ore (placed in the slot)

3 IDEA:
You can find specific Ores by toggle Ore Vein Finder Like:
Finding: Redstone Ore
Finding: Coal Ore
Finding: Tungsten Ore
etc.
