Im trying to use the joystick forward but the slightest movement left or right triggers the other links, is there a way to fix this?

I will need more informations, do you use advanced mode, and if yes how did you setup the controls ?

I did not use advanced mode and i set up the control via the in game config

Then configure your inputs via the advanced mod, here you can set minimum and maximum values for each axis
