.3e Mechanical Harvester seems broken if not broken has some inconsistencies

it seems that the update from .3 to .3e broke the mechanical harvester
there are some unique things happening with the harvester as when its used with an extendable piston it seems to harvest the first 2 rows of crops just fine but when using it on cocoa pods they just break the pods

If used with a rope pulley it breaks cocoa pods
If set to a piston with turn back at starting position it only harvest the first 2 rows of crops it sees
If set to turn back for everystops it just breaks crops the crops it comes accross
ok it seems rerolling my world made everything work as it should now which begs the question why did it broke in the first place... I had a horologium ritual altar going in my original testing world so I think that was the culprit on as to why most of the create mechanisms broke? can someone verify if any tick accelerating objects break them
