While I was playing, I set up an array of fan generators to make a salmon farm. I use a speed controller and it overloads. I turn down the speed and it breaks. I place a speed controller back and it breaks again. After, I realize that the large cog is spinning without power.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it was the power source.
