I tried to move a platform using a mechanical piston connected to Linear Chassis. On the platform, there was Double Oak Chests from Quark. When moving, they separated into single chests and half of the chests were empty, the other half still having their items.

Seems normal, since when you place items in a double chest, and you split it. It will fill up the first chest fully then put the extra in the second. If what I said made any sense.

Yes, but it doesn't but the extra in the second, leaving it empty. The extra items just disappear completely.
