Missing and broken textures.

Of the plain glass blocks added, only the tiled glass has a correct texture. Framed, horizontal, and vertical are all broken. This is for both the full block and pane variants.
In addition, any level of anisotropic filtering via Optifine not only breaks the above glass textures worse, it also breaks the textures of all wood-framed glass variants and layered stone variants.
That seems to be an issue on optifine's end, as I remember from the devs, they can't do much since Optifine is closed sourced. Though I could be very wrong here.
I figured as much when it comes to anisotropic filtering. The missing textures on the glass block variants have nothing to do with OF though, that top screenshot was taken with OF uninstalled.
See the selection of glass blocks and panes to the left? The framed, horizontal, and vertical variants are missing textures. They look fine in your inventory but not when placed.
If you are talking about the top image, it looks fine for me.
If you ate talking about the lower image, optifine does mess with create stuff.
I added a screenshot of the creative inventory so you can see how those glass blocks to the left are supposed to look when placed.
The textures in the creative inventory appear to be visual demonstrations of how those blocks' textures connect when it world, rather than their actual texture. As in the horizontal variant will connect side to side but not up and down and vice versa for the vertical variant.
I had the same problem,
this problem is ony with optifine G7 and G6
so I downgraded from 1.16.4 optifine G7 to 1.16.4 optifine G5 and this worked for me.
however if you are on 1.16.5 there are no optifine versions with G5, so you can try to play 1.16.5 with 1.16.4 G5 optifine.
Downgrading my Optifine from 1.16.5 HD U G7 to version 1.16.4 HD U G5 fixed it for me
