so im trying to stand on blocks on a windmill or something and I don't have collision with them. I'm not sure why this is happening but I'm wondering if there's a fix, I'm in 1.16.4

If you are using optifine, version 1.16.5_HD_U_G6 does not have this problem and works for 1.16.4 and 1.16.5
