Add a Use for the Nitwit

I think it would be very funny if in Create 0.4 you added a secret ability to the Nitwit Villager. I had a few ideas:

  • When they walk on a conveyor, they turn into an "item" that can be transported. Right clicking will make them re-appear in entity form. They will not be able to be put into an inventory, so it does not go into filters and hoppers.
  • Nitwits, when pushed upwards by a mechanical fan, flip upside-down as if they were named "Dinnerbone"
  • Dunking a Nitwit in honey (the source block) will dye their robes yellow, while dunking them in chocolate turns their robes the same texture as a jobless villager. This would make for a fun joke. ("Why won't this villager turn into a librarian???")
  • Nitwits could have the ability to randomly get off a stool (or cushion) that they sit on.
  • If you put a Nitwit and a regular villager inside a basin, then power a mechanical mixer above them, it will upgrade the regular villager to a master.
  • Blowing lava or fire with a mechanical fan onto a Nitwit will make it explode (will do damage to entities, but not blocks)
  • Right clicking a Nitwit with a mechanical arm will dye the arm green. It will work the same, but if you craft the green arm with a plough, it can then pick up blocks without hitboxes and place them in inventories.
  • Nitwits standing on copper blocks / ore will make it oxidize more quickly
  • Giving (by dropping) a Nitwit redstone dust will make him study it then return a green version. The green redstone (or greenstone) will not give signals to redstone, kind of like the bluestone mod
  • Give a Nitwit dirt and sticks, and he will return a dirt tool. This tool has only one use (1 durability), and is slow, but can mine on the same level as iron.

:D

I'm closing this due to inactivity. (And also because the idea is out of the scope of the mod.)

It's just my personal opinion, but it seems to me like these ideas would be better suited in a dedicated mod or addon rather than as a part of Create.

I suppose, but I think hiding a few easter eggs would be amazing.
