I held "[w] to ponder" on the Brass Funnel/Tunnel (It was one of the two) and my game crashed with a NullPointerException.

A temporary fix could be to close the recipe book.

The same thing happened with Empty Blaze Burner, was on creative so closing the recipe book is not possible.
