The engineers goggles dont work

i wear them but i cant see any additional info is there like a setting i need to turn on or something?
try looking at things like speedometers, stressometers, varions item processors
wheen i look at those, i just see the face on the front and nothing more
i just see the block itself
also do you need to connect something particular to the stressometer
because it doesnt work when its connected to my windmill
like the hand stays at the bottom default position
