I often had a problem with a Mac computer with minecraft mods.
With the Create Mod, it's this:
In the crate-chest, at motors and speed controller you can scroll without problems.
However, if you use the option that you hold down shift you can no longer scroll.
On a Windows computer it works, I have found out.
This is not so problematic,
but I can't set one-step speeds and I can't increase or decrease stacks of the size of the crate-chest.
Maybe someone in your development team can test it.
Otherwise I am available for questions.

issue is with minecraft interpreting shift scrolling as horizontal scrolling on MacOS
